- How long does it take to hire a maid to Malaysia?
- The process typically takes 8–12 weeks (2–3 months), depending on the maid's country of origin, embassy procedures, medical clearance, and Immigration approval.
- Which countries do you source maids from?
- We recruit maids from legally approved countries such as Indonesia and the Philippines, and can also support requests from Cambodia, Vietnam, and Sri Lanka through licensed agencies.
- What are the employer eligibility requirements?
- Employers must be Malaysian citizens or permanent residents with a stable income, and usually must have children, elderly, or individuals requiring care at home. Income requirements range between RM3,000 and RM8,000 depending on the nationality of the maid.
- What documents are required to hire a maid?
- You will need to provide your NRIC, marriage certificate, children's birth certificates (if applicable), income documents (e.g. payslips or EPF), and employer application forms for Immigration processing.
- What are my obligations as an employer?
- You must provide the maid with a safe and private living space, meals, medical coverage, rest days, timely monthly salary, and a respectful work environment. All responsibilities will be outlined in the employment contract.
- What if the maid fails medical or visa processing?
- If the maid fails the pre-departure or post-arrival medical checkup, or is rejected during visa processing, we will assist in arranging a replacement in accordance with the terms of your agreement.
- What happens if the maid resigns or absconds?
- You must inform us and the Immigration Department immediately. We will guide you through the necessary reports and offer a replacement process depending on the situation and terms agreed upon.
- How long is the standard maid contract?
- Most domestic helper contracts are for 2 years, renewable upon mutual agreement between the employer and the maid, subject to Immigration Malaysia regulations.
- Are there any hidden costs or fees?
- No. All fees — including agency service fees, government processing fees, medical checkups, visas, insurance, and flights — will be clearly stated and agreed before starting the process.
- Can I request a Muslim maid (if I’m Muslim)?
- Yes. We accommodate religious or dietary preferences upon request, such as providing a Muslim maid for Muslim households.
